Fry’s Anchored Center with Multiple Retail Tenants Supports Maricopa Growth

PHOENIX, July 24, 2017 – Vintage Partners has broken ground on Edison Pointe, the 14-acre land at the northeast corner of Edison Road and John Wayne Parkway in Maricopa, Arizona.

Edison Pointe, the second phase to the Fry’s anchored center, will include 130,000 square feet of development to provide space for new anchor tenants such as Ross Dress for Less, Burger King, Brakes Plus, Goodwill, Planet Fitness and Dunkin Donuts to name a few. The ground up development is currently 70% pre-leased.

“Vintage Partners and our team are very excited to be moving forward with construction on Edison Pointe after a lengthy marketing campaign. The City of Maricopa and its residents have been wonderful to work with and very patient. Hopefully we can continue to add new services to this great city in future phases,” said Casey Treadwell, with Vintage Partners.

Vintage Partners acquired the shovel-ready site back in 2012 and the revised site plan was submitted to the City for approval in late 2015. Over the past year Vintage Partners, along with Cushman & Wakefield’s Brad Douglass and Ryan Leavitt, have been working to finalize tenants. Expected delivery is scheduled for spring 2018.
