Cushman & Wakefield Sells Surprise, AZ Marketplace for $3.75 Million

PHOENIX, September 17, 2019 – Cushman & Wakefield facilitated the purchase of a portion of Greenway Marketplace, located at 15261 N. Reems Road in Surprise, Ariz., on behalf of Q3 Surprise LandCo, LLC. Hazelwood Properties USA, LLC sold the property for $3.75 million.

Chris Hollenbeck of Cushman & Wakefield’s Phoenix office represented the buyer in the transaction. Rommie Mojahed at Sperry Van Ness represented the seller.

“We were happy to help this buyer purchase their third retail property in Arizona and are excited to help them grow their real estate portfolio here in the Valley,” stated Hollenbeck.

The 8,453-square-foot (SF), multi-tenant building is leased to Dairy Queen, Mathnasium, Jenny Craig and Bosa Donuts. Built in 2016, the property is an outer parcel of the larger Greenway Marketplace – a Walmart Neighborhood Market shadow-anchored center consisting of 13,901 SF and built in 2008. Located at the southeast corner of Greenway Road and Reems Road, Greenway Marketplace is strategically positioned among desirable residential communities, one-mile east of Highway 303 and three miles west of US Route 60.

Shane Carter of Cushman & Wakefield has been retained to lease the final space available at Greenway Marketplace. The space is approximately 1,600 SF and perfect for a retailer looking to expand in a Walmart Neighborhood Market shadow-anchored shopping center.
