“So, how does the deal come together? This session explores the sharing of ideas and concepts by economic development practitioners which help seal the deals, and strengthen our state’s competiveness for landing amazing projects and bringing much needed jobs to Arizona communities.” That was the topic of a general session at the 2014 Arizona Governor’s Economic Development Conference in Phoenix. Director Matt Coxhead and Associate Director Ryan Bartos in the Office Properties Division were panelists representing the brokerage community. Also on the panel were the vice president of development for the Arizona Commerce Authority and the economic development director for the city of Scottsdale. The case study was San Francisco-based web provider Weebly opening an office in Arizona.
