Cushman & Wakefield Negotiates Four Sales Totaling 336,096 Square Feet

PHOENIX, June 2, 2016 – Cushman & Wakefield announced today the sale of four grocery-anchored, neighborhood shopping centers in Henderson and North Las Vegas, Nev. totaling 336,096 square feet.

Cushman & Wakefield Executive Managing Directors Michael Hackett and Ryan Schubert represented the seller, Donahue Schriber Realty Group, in all four transactions.

“All four properties offered the individual buyers an opportunity to acquire market dominant grocery-anchored shopping centers in proven in-fill locations with stable in-place income and a strong ‘daily needs’ tenant roster,” according to Hackett.

Anchored by a high-volume Smith’s Food and Drug Store – Pebble Marketplace, Paseo Verde Plaza and Eldorado Plaza are situated in high-profile locations to provide daily needs, services and dining options to the local consumer base. At the time of sale the centers had an average occupancy of 93.9% with national tenants including Chase Bank, Edward Jones, Jack in the Box and Starbucks among others.

The fourth property, Green Valley Plaza, is an 89,332 square foot Trader Joe’s anchored neighborhood shopping center that was 95.7% occupied at the time of sale. The property features a variety of national tenants in addition to Trader Joe’s, such as Dollar Tree, Big 5 Sporting Goods and Bank of America to name a few.

“These four institutionally owned and operated grocery-anchored shopping centers provided each of the buyer’s stability and upside potential in some of the most desirable locations in Henderson and North Las Vegas,” added Schubert.
